Because I live in the real world, and this is a diversion.

Will answer usually if e-mailed but that's about it. The why is because 1. I don't like to argue with evolutionists. 2. I don't like to argue with creationists, either. ( although I am a creationist ). 3. Don't like to argue about Bible verses. 4. Don't like people to try and tell me just exactly why my view is wrong. 5. Evolution is a belief system that depends on thousands of assumptions. 6. Creationism is a belief system that can be told or retold a thousand different ways. 7. Don't like to argue because neither creationism or evolution will ever be proven in this life. 8. And finally most people don't like my final answer which is a question. What difference will it make who is right? 9. If evolution is ever proven, just what will happen tomorrow? Same for creationism?
10. And mostly I take offense at evolutionists who believe that education: 1. Makes you truly understand evolution, which it does not. 2. Makes them smarter then creationists. 3. Takes a theory and demands that it be excepted as fact. 4. takes a theory that even the writer states that it is and presents it as fact.

Most people I don't want emailing me, so I'm not open to IM or email from here. There are a few of you I'm getting to know that I wouldn't mind. Anyway I frequently get on from work so I have to drop off at intervals to actually get something done. As much as I'd love to spend all day here, I just can't.

I do e-mail, and some times receive some Yahoo Answer users in my home (about 6-10 people only), pick them up at the airport, etc. But that's because we have become friends.
I don't have much time to use Yahoo Messenger, but when possible, yes, we chat for a little time.

I send maybe 2 or 3 e-mails a day to people here. I usually e-mail people that have posted an interesting question or answer that I liked and would like further elaboration on.

I used to Jim, "In the beginning my mailbox was void" (sorry)....but I started receiving emails from YA users that were inflammatory insulting and just plain childish. Now I just browse and enjoy what I see as interesting and take a "pass" on the ones that incite rhetorical banter. I often see your posts and make sure to peek in on you and, as with other posts, I may answer or just read, chuckle and be on my way.

I send emails sometimes to send kudos or otherwise, made a few 360 friends and turned someone else onto mySpace where we email frequently. This place is pretty sweet.

I never have which doesn't mean that I wouldn't, it just hasn't come up. I tend to be somewhat misanthropic so I may or may not respond if I was emailed. Besides, most of them are only after me Lucky Charms.

You know I do, and where's the Santa hat I made for you, mister?
I'm going to have to get a sombrero or something on there to hold you over 'til St. Patrick's Day...or a toque...hmm.
One of those beanies with the propeller. Yeah!

I send others emails occasionally and I always respond when they are sent to me. I'm not really that much of a people person.
