I shall give the same answer now as I did then: Many people are sure that atheists eat dead babies. As an atheist/agnostic I can tell you that any babies I eat are quite alive when I get started chewing. I live with several others in a massive mud pit wherein our flesh assails one another in every imaginable capacity. Oftentimes we come out of our hole to wreak havoc in the neighborhood and desecrate the churches, then we usually sidle up to the sides of carriages to get a glimpse of the protein for our evening meal. We play snatch-and-cackle with the screaming, agonized mothers. We pillage and rape and steal because without a god we are no more than rabid heathens. Goodness knows we cannot have the free will to be kind and thoughtful people without God telling us to be. I find it rather exciting to have the local farm animals join us in our daily orgies before they are sent to the slaughter with the children. Ah, the world is fruitful and gives us so much to feed off of! The cries from the Godful ones are operatic; the torture slow and deliciously obscene; you cannot for one moment imagine the screaming, bloody, lustful completeness of it all!

Bank robberies and bombings not so much, but oh yes, I think about people on here. Fleshily.

Dear friend and fellow human -
I am an atheist - if you follow the strict meaning, I don't believe God exists as an entity. I follow a solo wiccan path, a belief that nature and all the energy that makes it up is what we are about, and that there are no entities that punish or reward us.
I believe in all of us making up what we perceive as God and Heaven. We are God. We are Satan.
Have you ever been in a group of loving, healing people and it spreads and encompasses the group? You can feel it reaching beyond the boundaries of the room and imagine that love and peace spreading all over the world and you wish nothing more than that it would? sure you have. You may label that as God touching you. I call it positive, loving energy creating more. I call it science, and lovely science at that.
The other side: hate begets hate. Look at a mob, angry, hateful.. it spreads and spreads and there is a riot. Insanity seems to take over and people do things they might not even consider if they were not overtaken by the negative emotions that overwhelmed the good in them. I'm thinking you might feel this is Satan taking over... but only we deserve the guilt on allowing hate.
I believe fully that we need to take responsibility for all we do, good or bad. We get the credit when miracles happen because all the positive energy we put into them most likely caused them.. we get the blame for hate because when we hate back, it continues the flow of negativity and we cannot grow peace within hate.
I have never robbed a bank, bombed anything or anyone. My agenda is peace. My love is for all, even those who hate because they need it most.
I respect your need to believe in a God, I hope you will respect my need to not believe in Him/Her.

I don't really think about people. I live in a bubble. I lick envelopes made of the fleshy parts on females, but that's about it.

I think you will find that the majority of bombings etc around the world are done by the believers in unsubstantiated gods, not by atheists

I email several people on here, I've raised public concerns about the fact we have children participating (probably without their parents' knowledge), I participate in a group that spawned from this forum.

And at times when people are troubled, I offer support.

And I support the homosexuals on here who have an agenda of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.

So yes, I think about people, and I talk with them in supportive and protective ways, which is far better than just talking to the sky pixie about them.

I think about what people are doing but to amuse myself I also imagine what they are like in real life not cyber life.

Exactly what I don't understand....people of some religions judge when they know it's not their place.
I am not athiest....I think am more agnostic. But I know that athiests are not compassionless, they are who they are. There are people of religion with no compassion....from your question you kinda seem like one honestly.

Atheists are compassionate. That's why we're here.

I'm not easily offended but that linked question is borderline.

Just because we don't beleive in God doesn't make us compasionless. We just don't pray about it.
