rock and say it was an actual animal, why? Isn't it obvious that these "dinosaur" bones were carved by some kinda ancienct demon worshipping cult as giant sphinxlike statues of their skeletal, reptilian, demonic gods? And then God smited them scattering the bones across the world? Doesn't that make just a little more sense since we've never seen bones actually turned to stone for no apparent reason?

You are dead set and determined to believe what you wish to. Humans throughout history have craved images of animals and dieties. If you look at the structure of the sphinx (notice this is the proper spelling), it is obvious that later humans carved the human head from what used to be a lions head.

The trouble with your dinosaur bone theory is tons of evidence from many different disciplines shows that the Sphinx was carved less than 10,000 years ago and most bone fossils were formed close to 60 million years ago. No dinosaur bones have been found, only fossils (stone artifacts formed from sediment pressing on bones for millions of years).

If you wanna argue using history and science, perhaps you should learn a bit before sticking your foot in your mouth.

Wow, are you stupid or something? It takes millions of years for something to even begin the process of turning into rock... You just can't watch something turn into rock you stooge... Besides scientists have found DNA in said fossilized bones telling them that hey something had these bones inside of it giving it a skeletal structure and if the bones were scattered about willy nilly then how is it that we find near complete skeletons laying in the ground... And if your so religous didn't you know that Computers are considered evil... So your sinning by using the computer... Wow religous people are getting more close minded by the day, I'm glad I'm aetheist

ok, based off of your last sentence:

"Doesn't that make just a little more sense since we've never seen bones actually turned to stone for no apparent reason?"

can we also state that since we haven't seen God, Jesus, Mary, etc. that Evolution is a better explanation than God scattering bones?

um, bones do turn to stone "for no apparent reason" its been observed in various stages darling.

But the bible does say, from the dust you are and to the dust you shall return, so it not incomsistent with theology.Think about it. Your bones are already rock like.

your body is a part of the earth, that is why you need water and must partake of the earth by wat of plants (or must eat animals who eat plants) to live.

FYI, scientist say DNA is a clay like substance. So your body is of the earth all the way down to the cellular level.

Wow. I've lost count of how many times I've seen illogical arguments like this one. But this is the first time I've been called an 'evilutionist'. Now that is vaguely amusing.

If this is a joke, I'm missing the punchline. If it is not a joke, oh god.
