Is it better to walk at 4 MPH for 30 minutes or do a 30 minute denise austin workout?

Both workout scenarios you're talking about are 30 minutes in length. Walking at 4 mph is a great pace, you're burning calories and fat after 30 minutes. If you'd rather work out with Denise, that will get you pretty much the same results... maybe a 'bit' more, but not much more. You might burn another 30-50 calories with Denise. It depends on which you like better.

Denise Austin has a ton of DVDs. It's all about raising your heart rate. Do what works for you. The Idea is to do something 3 or more times a week and "don't quit"
