Stray, scary or staring dogs...which kind???

What do you mean? Stary dogs?...................... ????
Reasons for protecting ANY dog:
1) They have learned to depend on humans
2) We taught them to depend on humans
3) If anything happens to them (they get eaten by a wild animal, they're shot, they starve to death, ect.) Its our fault.
4) They'll love you when the world hates you.
5) Scientific studies show that petting a dog will actually help you're body heal when it is hurt or if you're ill.
6) Aren't they cute? =P
There are sooo many reasons to protect a dog. I don't know what a stary dog is, but I'm pretty sure it is a dog.

Are you meaning to say scary? Because they can still be rehabilitated. Dogs that appear mean are simply abused, sad, unhappy prisoners of love. They didn't choose to be the way they are, WE made them that way. So in essence it's our DUTY to protect them as we caused them to be that way. Had it not been for some wretched person being cruel to that dog he/she would be a nice loving animal that everyone wants to be around.
Edit: Oh did you mean stray? Well protect them for much the same reason. They didn't ask to be born into a home that would abandon them. They only want to love and be loved. How could you think of killing another beating heart so much like your own?

The problem isn't with the dogs, but with humans. Even if people round up all the stray dogs and kill them, the problem won't go away. Punish the people, not the pets.

Because it is not their fault that they are stray. It is laws that human make that make them "strays". The fact is that it is no fault of the dogs that they are strays so why punish them?
If it was your dog you would want someone to look after it till you found it right?

Why wouldn't you protect a stray dog? If your dog got loose, wouldn't you want someone to take care of him/her until you found them?

Because they are still a living and breathing being no matter hwat it is should it be an ant, fly, wasp, bee they are all living things and should not be reduced to torture and starvation and treated unfairly just becasue they don't have a good home!! it is not fair..........
