It seems fairly random, i can be surfing the net for ages and it won't happen, then sometimes i open it up and it does it straight away?!?! I tried using Netscape and it does the same. My real concern came when my games did the same. I have been playing Dungeons and dragons online, Pro evo soccer 6, Battlefield 2142, ghost recon Futury thing and they all do it.
I use virus protection and Ad aware and Spybot but it keeps on happening and it's driving me nuts!!! I even bought a new hard drive and copied across all my stuff from the old one and the problem persists. Is it a virus, Registry problem, Goblins?!?!

When it happens in games sometimes i get a blue text screen that says a device driver caused a problem but i have updated the NVidia driver so got no clue, also i get error reports from all.
Please help me. I've got a 3.2GHZ Pentium 4, Nvidia 6800 128k graphics card with latest driver, 2GB of RAM, 320 Gig of memory so i can't see what is going wrong.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Spybot is not recommended for your computer. Spybot cuts deep into your OS and eventually ruin your PC. I've had the same problem and when I got rib of Spybot, my problem was over, but note in mind that I also had to reinstall the OS...

Yes, a virus could be causing the problem, too, if you don't have a subscribed Anti Virus, personal firewall, etc, installed on your pc... Note in mind that all the free Anti Virus sodtware protections you see offerred for free are all not good. Why? BECAUSE THEY'RE FREE.

Sure sounds like you have a good computer with a lot of RAM which you have managed to overload. Try these "helpful hints" and see if they help.

- Many users are not aware of how much RAM is used by wallpaper and/or a screensaver full of graphics. They run in the background and consume memory. (I have only 512mb RAM, run multiple programs simultaneously, and have set my wallpaper and screensaver to blank.)

I don’t do games, but I do know they are primarily graphics which need and use a lot of memory.

- How many programs do you load at startup? Maybe you should check it out and ensure you are running just what you need.
To do this: cl Start, cl Settings, cl Taskbar and Start Menu.
-cl Start Menu, cl Customize, cl Remove.
-cl the icon for the program you wish to remove
-then cl Remove.
-This will prevent the program from loading at startup, but will not remove the program from the hard disk.

-When you are working in a large file, save frequently to restore full memory access. (Your work remains in memory until you “save” it to disk.)

1.Did you run an error check? Open My Computer,
Right-cl on C:, Select Properties, Tools – Run an Error Check ( checkmark “check all and fix); then run a Defrag

2.Are you using Yahoo Toolbar? Run a full Norton Antispy.

3.From IE, click Tools, Internet Options
delete cookies
delete files (offline files)
clear history (set days to save to 0 if you want)
click o.k., and Restart

3.click Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools – run Disk Cleanup

4.click Start, Run ipconfig renew (type ipconfig space renew)

All these things should be done regularly. The more frequently they are run, the less time they take.
-Note: Games and videos are mostly graphics. Graphics create large files. If this doesn’t help, you should consider getting more memory.

maximum likely it really is a difficulty with Flash or some plug in crashing this technique. try switching to Firefox and observe once you've similar issues. you could favor to uninstall the upload-ons to IE and/or reinstall IE thoroughly to get it to artwork easily lower back.
