Call the vet first thing. Try not to move him too much, and avoid moving his leg as much as possible. If a bone is broken in an odd position it may cut through his muscle, or even his organs. Its good that the cat is 3; if it was really young it would hurt itself even more. Stay calm, talk in soothing tones. The cat won't understand anything you're saying, but it will help him to relax. Oh, and keep him from licking his leg.

If you have a god, pray. Even if it dosen't cause a miracle right then and there, It will make you feel better. Best wishes.

YOU MAY WANT TO TAKE YOUR CAT TO THE VET. MY BROTHER FELL ON HIS DOG JUST ABOUT 2-3 WEEKS AGO AND TOOK HER IN THAT NIGHT TO FIND OUT THAT HE BROKE HER LEG. SO YOU NEED TO REALLY GET HER CHECKED OUT. I HOPE YOUR CAT AND DAD ARE OKAY. GOOD LUCK.
