Ephesians 5:3-4

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

I really believe that it is how you are raised. My parents taught me not to curse, even the four letter word for flatulence was off limits. Not because it was cursing, but because it was distasteful. What I want to know is how some Christians will curse in front of everyone but their pastor/priest/rabbi, etc., what does that tell you?

Who decided what is cursing and what is not? How do you decide what is foolish talk and what is filthy? In some countries, words that are ok in the us mean something profane there.
