Okay Why cant people just live together and deal with there differences? Why does everyone fight over religion? How come people believe that the bible and other works should be used in ruling the government? What ever happened to seperation of church and state?
I notice there is too much hatred in the world... and I believe that the cause is religion. Is it because everyone wants to be "right" about what they believe in? If so does that justify killing another person- To kill for what you believe in?
* I am not against any religion and people should be allowed to believe in what they want with out fear of prosectution.

religion not the cause? then what are they fighting for, what is the reason behind all the 'holy wars'? Are they just blaming religion and killing others just because they like to kill?

You make a lot of sense to me. Contrary to the general belief religion has done a lot to separate people than uniting. Look at the petty differences between them. Why these wise people fail to accept that there is only one god and we know him by different names? Any religion is supposed to lead the people on the right path that is the betterment of the mankind and not for a select few. I strongly believe that someday religion will be replaced by something less separating and more logical. If it was not for the jealoucy between different faith/religions the world would have been a lot better place today.

God mentions this in Genesis 3:15, during his conversation with Satan. He tells him that emnity will be put between the two the followers of the two. The battle will rage on and Jesus will be a big part of it. Now, when you look at the different Religions (or spiritual beliefs) you can't help but say that Jesus is a big part of that.

Religion is not the cause. People use religion as a tool. If there wasn't organized religion people would still fight with eachother.
