I am a 43 year old caucasian female. Is it a BAD thing to be falling in love with a latino? He is the sweetest man on the earth and he is melting my heart! Besides, he is so sexy! What will society think? Am I just old fashioned to think there may be some retribution?

btw...he has a good job and even a part time job on the side..he has raised his son for 18 yrs alone and seems to be middle to upper class.. so what does that mean? Oh and his skin is medium color...like does that matter either?? We did meet on a dating site...and I plan to fly to meet him in 2 months ..i am in ohio.

Love is colorblind. There is absolutly nothing wrong with falling in love with someone, regardless of their national heritage. There are people who will or will not like it, but that is their problem.

No, you are not old fashioned to think that society will have an opinion about a caucasion woman and Latino man being together, some good opinions and others not so good. Since you are 43 years old, I'm sure you have learned that society will have an opinion about everything you do. This could be the time for you to stop caring about what society thinks and live your life the way you see fit.

Just be careful, how much do you know about this guy? If it's only been online or on the phone I always found none of that mattered until we met because we didn't get along once we interacted. Plus what social class is he? I would beware of the lower classes(does he have brown skin=99% most likely lower class), it seems they have less respect as far as taking advantage of people. I am not tryiing to insult anyone, there are good people everywhere but I'm just speaking from experience. I am from mexico and later lived in texas.

Who the hell cares what others think! If you love him then there isnt a problem. Latinos are some of the coolest people I know there is nothing wrong with dating or falling for someone who is a different race than you are. He would be hurt if he knew how you were thinking! Stop being shallow. If someone has a problem with you dating a Latino then thats their problem.
