Hep C CAN be treated, and will sometimes, go away. HIV will never go away, so Hep C would be my choice. Still, mainly, people with HEP C will be a carrier forever if they had it and had it made so they don't have it. HIV and HEP C can be both invisable, deadly things to have. When someone with HIV gets HEP C it makes both of these get worse. At this time, I know a relative with HIV, who was accidentally poked with a dirty needle from a HEP C patient's needle that was being turned into the clinic. This relative, now, needs to be constantly checked for HEP C. Each one aggrivates the other and makes both worse. My relative is being checked this very day, again, since it has been 3 months since the HEP C patient just plopped (unexpectedly, of course) the dirty needles into his hand, causing the HEPC dirty needle to prick his hand. Both are terrible to have, and I hope I never have either one. Still, we are ALL born terminal..........we are all going to die, at some time. It is possible that I will get hit by a truck, or die some other way, before my HIV relative does.

I have both and I'd rather have neither. Why would someone want one or the other.HIV is alot more serious than HepC but they are both potentially fatal diseases.
