Stop by Kelly's services or another temp agency such as Adecco. They can hire you on short notice and your basic french and german won't hinder you that much if you are interested in working manual labor. Even though you are a Swiss citizen make sure you register your tax information and address with your Canton right away, or you won't be able to work.
If you are there for only a couple of months, stay away from any corporation that will have you fill out a bunch of paperwork, including Manor, Migros, McDonalds, etc. It could take 4 to 8 weeks by the time the paperwork and interviews get done.

Your lucky that you are a swiss and british cititzen so it is going to be extremely easy for you to start working. Anywhere you go in Switzerland will be great for you. I live in Switzerland right now, and living in a tiny village which is a lot easier to work in. You dont need to come here with a job, since you have the citizenship you will get a job automatically when you ask for one.
