It is run on the first Satruday in May, usually at around 5:30 or a little later in the evening. In fact, the website says it is 72 days, 7 hours and 44 minutes until post time right now. So that would make it about 6:00 p.m. local time Churchill Downs.

The first Saturday in May at about 2 EST in the afternoon.
From the area and love derby season if you can make a visit you should and don't miss Thunder.
