for wastewater - well, RO does give the best possible quality. Otherwise, after going for primary and secondary treatment followed by high pressure media filteration, we can then go disinfection through ozonation, UV or chlorination

actually, it all depends on quality of raw water/wastewater and targeted treated water/wastewater quality
