It is written in the Bible that since the great serpents betrayed God by providing fruit from the Tree of Life to Humans, they were cursed and their arms and legs removed.

If the universe was created by a superior entity, it was created in such a way that makes it possible for science to study, theorize, and prove scientifically where life began. The basis of creationism beliefs are "Faith" (belief without proof) if creationism could be proved scientifically or by default that would take the faith out of the equation and render religion obsolete. Believers and non-believers alike would all know "something" alien to man created earth. Then the debate would be--whether it was an advance race of humanoids that populated this planet, or a superior entity that creates by thought. We continue to evolve even now, whether we were created as humans, or evolved from apes.

I dont know much about this subject although the bible leads us to believe that snakes at one time had legs before the fall of man as punishment for there part in the fall they were taken away from them speaking of a snake "Cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals you will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life"

I thought that I read somewhere that these are not vestigial at all. Scientists have found that the snakes use these "legs" in some sort of sexual function.

Also, against your request, in Genesis, God says to the snake that it would have to crawl on it belly from here on. Therefore, it didn't always crawl. Also, aren't there only hind legs. Hind legs with no forelegs. Hmmmm.... I haven't seen too many upright walking lizards. Have you?

Genesis 3:14 indicates that snakes used to have legs.

Loss of legs is a loss of information, which does NOT support evolution, as it's going the wrong way. What information did ameba lose to produce Man?

Evolution required a gain of useful information via random processes. What mutations can we identify today that produce a gain of useful information?

Who says that they were left over from a lizard ancestry? That is just an assumption that you make. Does science base its facts upon assumptions?

I am not a creationist, but I can answer this one.. those would be the legs they had before convincing Adam and Eve to eat the "apple". God took them away as punishment.

According to the Bible, snakes used to have legs, until the Garden of Eden, when the snake deceived Adam and Eve. God cursed the snake to forever crawl for its deceit.

Then what?
Evolution is accepted. But it cannot be used to explain spiritual matters. We need to learn both science and religion.
