I watched the video..I heard them say they seen the orange markings. The only British voice is at the very end after it happened.

If they didnt do anything wrong..Why were they more worried about what would happen to themselves than the soldiers they had attacked.

I agree with Morgy, while they should face some kind of penalty for murder, it wasn't intentional and they were very unhappy with themselves for what they did. It's not like they did it on purpose in cold blood.

No, soldiers are regretably killed by "friendly fire" (even US soldiers)
A board of inquiry, and if necessary, a courts martial will determine
if the pilots' actions were in accordance with procedure, and if
found guilty of wrongful deaath, you can rest assured that there will be Levenworth
time (the pilots will wish they WERE in a British prison)

It wasn't the pilots fault, it was the people who were giving them information. Do you think the pilots were happy about this? They weren't, it certainly wasn't murder.
EDIT: I am not saying it is ok, I am saying they will suffer the rest of their lives knowing they caused an innocent person to die. And you ask, "If they didn't do anything wrong, why were they so worried?", the answer is THEY HAD JUST KILLED SOMEONE!, wouldn't you be upset and worried? I could understand your outrage if it were done on purpose and they were indifferent about it, but that is not the case.

No, it was a pure accident, besides im pretty sure they asked British if there were friendlies and they said no, it is just a case of bad communication, they dont belong in jail, it is just war, it happens
Im British by the way
I just feel bad for all the families involved

I say they should do this right after the court martial the British soldiers who gave our pilots the bad information.
You realize that this was the second a British unit was hit by an American aircraft because the US pilots believed what the Britis told them about where their people were?

Having read the transcript of the video, it seems that the ones at fault aren't the pilots, but their commanders, who repeatedly assured them that there were no friendlies in the area.

I think they should go after the person that created all this mess to begin with - George Bush with his lies and his illegal war.
The soldiers did wrong but they are brain washed to be extremely agressive and mean. This type of brain washing was created by Bush and admin.

It's amazing when people don't read entire stories, just the headlines, and come off half-****** and wrong.
