I heard a radio show yesterday about the science of creationism. The speaker discussed a number of scientific creationist theories explaining how all scientific evidence of evolution (e.g. fossils, carbon dating, geologic evidence) can be explained by writiings in the Catholic bible. Why did he keep insisting on basing his conclusions on things written down in a 2,000 year old book that has been translated through several different languages (Aramaic, Greek, Latin)? Won't basing scientific conclusions on a single source of information leave you on pretty shaky ground when your arguements are considered rationally?

I'm afraid you've been listening to lies. There is no such thing as creationist science. Not a single paper has been published in a reputable peer-review paper supporting creationism.
And there are no scientific theories relating to creationism.

If religion can be a science, then it is the use of false hypotheses to build its own conclusion. Since we can never determine the beginning of time, religious people will just state that is god's creation. Since we can not prove to a 100% certainty evolution took place, they just state the missing evidences prove creationism or intelligent design. The biggest problem of this religious science is they have a lot of followers already. It will never stop as long as people relate their sufferings as a god given test or a payback for their sin.

Creationism is not a science - it is based on faith and belief in the Bible, and is therefore subjective. Science refers to a system of acquiring knowledge based on the scientific method, as well as to the body of objective knowledge gained through such research.

Actually, the facts that are presented as evolution are interpreted and can be reinterpreted to support creationism as well.
I recommend you read a few of the well written, scientific articles at this website. Many are written by PHD scientists who are also Christians that believe in creationism.

There is no "science of creationism". Creationism is a propaganda movement, as a quick look at the "answersingenesis" website will demonstrate. If you're honest about this, you'll notice that site- like all other organized creationist works - is simply the work of professional liars.

Yes. But the bible is just one book too. That is contradictory but I still have Faith in God. Faith is the evidence of things unseen and God will confound the wisdom of the wise. Sounds nuts to you but I've seen things and I've experienced healing of a condition I had surgery for twice and it was serious and I was headed for surgery again. You would think my mind healed my body probably, but I know it was the power of god. An old timer I know says "I know it in my Knower". Corny but that's how I feel now. Oh, and I don't go to church. I can't deal with Organized Religion. I read the Bible for myself.
