OK, if you've been dating for a year and you're starting to think about it chances are sooner or later you'll get around to doing it. Now the question is - are you ready for that? It sounds like you're thinking of doing it just to please your boyfriend. That is NOT the right reason to do it. You should wait until you have desires of your own.

Also, no matter when you do it of for what reasons you need to know about safe birth control and disease prevention. You can get a disease just by sucking on it - yes, you really can. You can get pregnant the first time you do it. You can get pregnant at any time of the month. You can get pregnant in any position - standing up doesn't help. You can get pregnant even if he pulls out before he's done. I'm SERIOUS about this. You need to use condoms every single time you do anything with a boy. If he won't use one then get rid of him.

You will date lots of boys in your lifetime. If a boy asks you for something you don't want to give him break up. There will always be another boy. Pregnancy - whether you have the baby or an abortion - will affect you for the rest of your life. Some diseases will be with you the rest of your life. Some kill you.

Talk to your mom or a school counselor to get all the facts. Then, wait until YOU are ready. Don't let the boy pressure you into anything.

If your BF doesn't want to go "all the way" then you should respect his wishes. It may be a very important standard for him to not have sex prior to marriage and if this is the case and you really care for him you will not tempt him. If this is a standard that he has and you tempt him and he caves in to your seduction you may ruin your relationship. Find out his reasons and take it from there.

No, you shouldn't. Why are you even asking this? Your boyfriend already told you that he won't go all the way. If you really loved and cared about him you would respect his wishes.
One more thing...if you force yourself on him sexually in any way after he has said "no" it is considered rape.
