I would wait. They usually say about 2-3 years of age. If you give it to early they can become allergic, that is if it is given in larger amounts. If it is just a taste then you are fine. I would either wait...or better yet...call your pediatrician.

I would say so. I didn't give my son honey (or anything with honey in it) until about a year old. That's when I've heard they can tolerate it.
I think it's perfectly safe IMO.
I'm a mommy to a 15-month old, and have done reading on it.

Nope, don't give honey just yet. The main concern is that honey contains botulism spores which could make a small child very sick. Healthy adults have no problem with this, but you should at least wait until he has his second birthday before introducing honey.

Honey is really not a very good product for young children and not ever for babies. It is a thick sugar product that sticks to the childrens teeth way more than regular sugar does. Just think about spilling a little sugar as opposed to spilling honey and cleaning it up!

call the ped or wait till ur next appt. i wouldnt give honey until 3yrs old. if at all. but its really your call your their parent.
