Just curious, because I cook everyday, clean house, take care of my daughter, write lil sweet notes, take care of the lawn, hold a job-- etc.... but nothing is ever good enough, I still get ditched. While my sister on the other hand does not cook, and spends all of her money plus her husbands, doesn't spend any time with her kids etc....and her husband worships the ground she walks on. WHAT GIVES? Am I doing TOOO much for the men in my life?

I am sooo use to being by myself and not really depending on a man so I do things around the house or they won't get done. But when I am in a relationship I still do alot for them and no I don't nag. I hate arguing and I do like to invite our friends over for drinks and eats---this helps me to destress after a long day!!

oh hell yeah you are doing too much.. A man likes to know that you can depend on him. Not too much but just enough to allow him to remember how important he is in the home.. For cryin out loud you are trimming the lawn that his job...Let him take charge for a while i am sure it will pay off

What makes us love our wife, you asked. Well, my wife does all the things you said you do, plus things that for some reason you did not mention.....1.sex, sex and more sex. 2. She works out at the gym everyday and keeps her figure looking good. 3. She primps her hair, nails, toenails, wears cute clothes. 4. She listens to me. 5. She doesn't nag, ***** or complain. If these things sound like too much for you to do, you're not suited to be a good wife!

Coolness. If she doesn't have any, I'm so outta here. You teach and allow people how to treat you. Sounds like you're doing too much and not allowing your mate to have any worth in the relationship. What do you expect of him if you're doing everything? What's his point? If you're not worthy of being treated better, you probably won't get it. Stop letting yourself be used by a thankless mate.

I agree with Jaycie's answer.

damn if all you say is true - you are a goddess in my books, but perhaps doing too much and being too clingy can make you a little boring - add some spice to your life show them you are fun too.

you are too giving your partner needs to give as well --- you also need to accept --- too many ladies find it difficult to accept they are conditioned to give and keep giving --- it took me a long time and a failed marriage to find that out --- i did and i will do better next time

she's good to me and lets me have my space when I need it. You have to find someone who appreciates all the things you do also stop comparing yourself to your sister.
