It is obvious that everyone sins some of the time, but at what point does a person become a sinner? Would you consider yourself a sinner? Who would you consider a sinner?

Yes. I am a sinner but for the grace of God. I sin in some way every single solitary day it seems like. I get tired of the guilt so I ask for forgiveness when it hits me!! But then sometimes you have to correct the mistake anyway. It's easier to correct if it is going to bring you the relief forgiveness gives me.

I always thought Catholics had it easy because they could just confess out loud on Saturdays and they were covered for a week. That was dumb now when I think about it. I am a sinner though, I know that. Jesus is alive to me and the Holy Spirit is Always With me and He would Stay with me even if I went out and got drunk or whatever!! I wouldn't like to take the Holy Spirit that is in me out to a bar or make him watch while I lie, but He's been around and knows what's up. Forgiveness is the cure for Guilt and Sin. @8-)

I believe you are considered a sinner when you truly realize right from wrong. I am a sinner...not very proud of it but, everyone is at one point or the other. A friend once told me just sitting in front of your computer is a sin, because you are putting it before God.

"All have sinned and come short of the glory of God" according to the scriptures. But for those who actively strive to serve God that past tense should apply. Note it does not say "all do sin". 1st John 5:18 says"...whomsoever is born of God sinneth not."
So if it's "obvious" people sin then I must question how hard they are trying to serve God in the purity that is possible in the Holy Spirit? If you have received the Holy Spirit as described in Acts Chapter 2 and you choose to continue your walk with God in earnest then sin is not really that big of a problem. The perception that we are all just poor sinners who have no power to control ourselves and therefore we all take quick dips in sin every now and then is perpetuated by those who refuse to apply the various scriptures that make it clear that the Spirit is given to enable us to withstand temptation. If you have received the Holy Spirit and you are living for God you don't sin. That's scripture! Those who teach otherwise are not teaching the truth of the scriptures. Now why would anyone who has received the Holy Spirit do that? They would not.
There is also a scripture that says the path to salvation is narrow and there are few on it. Now why would scripture say that? For the same reason another scripture says in the end days there will be multitudes preaching "here is Christ, there is Christ". The bottom line is that living for God in the truth of the Spirit is not a casual committment. Either you live for God or you don't. Either you have received the Holy Spirit as described in Acts 2 or you haven't. Either you sin or you don't. It's your call.

Everyone is born a sinner. I am no longer a sinner in the eyes of my Lord. I was saved from my sins. I do sin because I am not perfect but when God looks upon me all he sees in the blood that Jesus shed for me. When I sin I still have to ask for forgivness for those sins and do my best to correct them.

Obviously a sinner is considered to be a sinner only on the outlook of the Creator. No one ever dare to commit on another person as a sinner because there are lot of things going between just YOU and GOD.

It depends on what you consider a sin. Many of what christians believe to be sinful, I disagree and say that they are harmless. I am an atheist and I try to be a good person.
So, no...in my eyes, I don't think I'm a sinner. Once in a while, I may get a little angry and I might snap at someone....but overall, I can't think of anything I've done recently that I would consider bad.
They can call me all the names they want and shout out all the scripture they want.....but I'm not changing my beliefs.

We are born into sin at the age of accountability we are more aware of what we are doing but The Lord say's that if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive our sins. So as for me I'm a sinner saved by the Grace of God

Yes I am sinner. We are all born sinners. A person become responsible for their sins when they reach an age of accounatbility. At that point, they know what sin is, not just what "Mom or Dad say is bad"...

lets see... unclean thoughts, occasionally foul mouth... yeah I'm a sinner.

According the bible everything on earth is imperfect, even the very dirt we walk on. We are all sinners, we cannot help but to be sinners. That does not mean that we cannot gain forgiveness. All you have to do is try not to sin, and seek forgiveness when you do. Life is about the journey not he destination.
