Oh yes! Quite unfortunately; and it's a sad commentary on human's reasoning capabilities; fable mongers all!

The most common scripture for supporting the belief in "the rapture", as it is commonly called, is 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.

Paul wrote to this church because people were concerned that in the 25 years since Jesus' resurrection, several members of their church had died. They were worried that the dead people would miss out on Jesus' return. Paul assures them that when Jesus comes again, both the living and the dead Christians will be taken with him.

An infants or small children, since they have not reached the point where they can make a decision for or against Christ, will be included in those "saved".

What is Jesus waiting for? He said that he would not return until the message had gone to the entire world. Their are still countries in which the preaching of Jesus is not permitted, languages in which the scriptures are not available, etc. So since not everyone has yet had a chance to hear the truth, Jesus has not returned.

That is also the answer to the Buddhist and Muslim question. Jesus will not return until everyone on earth has had a chance to clearly hear and either accept or reject his message.

The belief in "the rapture" is not just an American belief. But it is probably more common in the US then in other parts of the world. And more common in Protestant then Catholic churches.

Revelation 1:7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
Yes, I believe it. I look around and see nothing but miracles that God created, including me. No, unsaved babies and children will not be left behind because they are not of the age of accountability. Same with mentally disabled people. Otherwise, if you have not been born again in the spirit, you will remain behind, no matter the religion or whether you were a good person or bad. It says in the bible, God knows the number and when the last person has accepted Him, then Jesus will return. No, you can leave your earthly goods at home. The unborn and the already dead saved people will also go with HIm.1. Thessalonians 4:16-18 says: For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words." No, all Christians believe this. The time to follow rapture is the time of tribulation when those left behind and find faith in Jesus will be tortured for their belief. It is the time when the Anti Christ will reign for a season before He is thrown into the lake of fire forever.

Yes one day Jesus will come in the clouds. No one knows when. All those who are unsaved will be left behind. Babies until the age of accountabilty will be taken as well. I do not know what that age is. I am sure for each child it is different.
The chapter in which you ask for is 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.
All those who are saved and have died before us will rise from the ground and meet Jesus in the air.

You are referring to the Rapture theory, and to answer your last question, the apostle Paul said that the dead are raised first.

In answer to your first question, yes I believe the Bible. Is that really that strange to you to realize that a Christian actually believes what Christ taught?

As for your other questions, I don't really have the space, or the time, to discuss the Great Tribulation period, or the Reign of the Anti-Christ. You can find these things out for yourself. Try using google.

And Jesus is waiting for specific signs to be fulfilled. Here are a few exemplarily Bible passages. You can find the rest on your own:

------------------------------------

30"At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. 31And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other....

....37As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
~Matthew 24 (NIV)

15According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
~ 1 Thessalonians 4 (NIV)

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
~2 Peter 3:9 (NIV)

i know no much of jesus, as i said, much that he is no God, God is such great that is ofensive to compare him to a human.

anyhow, i think this of the later days, the bible doesnt mention jesus has the one whos coming, the prophets says the LORD will reign over all the earth. off course this is all like metaphorical, to extract a teaching, each will recognize the real GOD and will decide to follow him, thats how he will reign, and on when this hapens, people, that loves God, will stop destroying his creation, and the earth will become again the paradise it used to be, and we could be happy, here, seeing the lion and the lamb living together :D.

People, will have more pwer then, and miracles will began to hapen, as death people resurrecting, deserts growing green, and else. i dont know if a iss a point, but i expect on the mercy of God that we can be saved, and enjoy the land by his side.

Yes He is comming. And there is no such thing as 'unsaved children', Jesus already has that covered. When a child ages and refuses to accept Him, then they are unsaved.
Any buddists etc that have not heard the word of God will also be saved.
