Start educating the public rather than feeding them propaganda on the transmission. When a social behavior causes DEATH, it would seem that you would enact laws and find ways to discourage the behavior. Driving while under the influence as an example. We have been very effective in reducing fatality rates by simply educating the public, stiffening laws and making it socially unacceptable. Don't read anything else into my answer! That is it, EDUCATE with the TRUE statistics of the percentage of people infected where the probable origin of their exposure was not from someone who is gay, shared needles or had carnal knowledge of a non-human primate! I have NOTHING against gays, needle sharers or monkey screwers. Whatever they want to do is fine by me as long as they don't bother me with it. I just think that they, along with all of us, should be able to make an informed choice about how we conduct ourselves and the precautions that we take in our everyday lives. Especially if it has to do with inadvertently killing somebody!

Don't have unprotected sex? Unless you know for a fact that they don't have HIV/AIDS - and you would have to have been there for the results of several consecutive tests, several months apart - then either don't have sex or use a condom.
