Since they deny magic how can they appreciate how magically delicious they are?

Sweetie,
they've taken your land,
raped your women,
over run and destroyed your religion
(two of them now- bad enough they destroyed the original - but then gave you a new one and persecuted you for that as well),
driven out your snakes,
and in general treated you as low life peasantry not allowed to be called white till it was a bad thing to be.
Might as well hand over the lucky charms - you know they won't stop till they get them.

Actually, if I had to weigh which group believes in "magic" more: theists or atheists... I'd say the atheists are on the short end of that stick... Wouldn't you? :-)
