I am the same with everything, wont fly, wont go on tubes, wont do anything like that! I have to go to London 2moro and its worrying me so much!

I also get extremley painful stomach pains and the doctor has said they think I have Endometrosis (something to do with the lining of the womb) They have said this is probaly causing me to have depression but they wont give me any help apart from tablets and I really dont want to get stuck on those! Any ideas at why I feel like this and any help you know of??

hiya,

i used to be like this, but let me tell you, it DOES pass, maybe not straight away but it does.

i used to be afraid of having a deep bath incase i drown or something...

what helped me;;

when i got these feelings, i would smile, not at anything in particular, but just smile, take a deep breath (not too deep)
and think of the last thing that made me laugh or smile, or i think of someone i love and imagine something really great happening to them...

or my fave...think of what ill buy when i win the lottery!!! that puts a smile on my face, just keep smiling and breath slower, then you will fly through it,

try it the next time,,, it'll work babes, really xx

I used to have the exact same problems... panic, chest pains, stomach aches, etc.... After multiple visits to the doctor's office I realized that the best remedy was to quit going there because it stressed me out even more. Every time they told me something new I would worry about it constantly. Try to find a hobby that's fulfilling and constructive to take your mind off negative thoughts. Make sure you can separate your work life from your home life... that was a big help for me.

It sounds like anxiety,( and panic attacks ) its not fun I suffer with it too. I know nothing anyone says will help, I can't be alone when I'm like this, too scary. I went to a councillor and that helped a lot. When you feel better and you allways do after so long, you begin to realise you were irrational, but you can't think like that at the time. Take a deep breath drink a cold glass of water slowly and remember no-one ever died of a panic attack. Take care. And keep busy.

I used to be like that, worrying about everything & having panic attacks etc. You could try councilling as often Doctors don't think of the psychological issues, they just give you pills to mask the symptoms. Most health problems have emotional roots, you need to get to the bottom of why you are feeling like this, your anxiety is there for a reason. You could try some of Paul Mckenna's hypnosis CD's he has some really good ones for relaxation & wellbeing. Meditation & yoga can help quieten your mind. I hope you manage to sort your problems out.

as for not getting on planes and tubes obviously the terriosts attacks have affected you alot more than it has others,
maybe you always think the worst so you dont get disappointed if this things actually happen i.e. the pains in your chest
i dont really know what else it cud be the panic attacks cant be helping your feelings tho.

You are feeding your own fears.

I suffered from panic attacks 2 years ago......I felt a constant impending doom!! My heart goes out to you, it is so frustrating when your brain knows one thing yet every fibre in your body and soul says otherwise.

You have to overcome the anxiety....assure yourself with facts, stop making films in your head. We you feel a panic attack coming on, jump up and down, go for a run, don't focus on it. You can overcome it, I did

All the best

You are a very pessimistic/fearful individual. Try to change that attitude. Be on the bright side of life. Think positive. It is all up to you to live a better life.
