You see, I'm going out with this girl, but my best friend likes her, too, and when he found out I was going out with her, he got all upset. So, once I found out he was upset, I broke up with her. Now he's telling me that he's better now and I should ask her out again. Right now, we're all friends, and I could ask her out again if I wanted to because she doesn't like him, she likes me.

What should I do?

There was never any need for you to dump her in the first place. Ask her out.

H@** no you didn't do the right thing. It's good that you really care about your friend and all but if he was a true friend he would get over it and be happy for you and you shouldn't dump someone just because someone else likes her, that is childish! To be honest you might want to be careful how you deal with other people especially when there are feelings involved!

yeah i would have done that too. well done kid. but now that he's cool with it, there's nothing stopping you. although you might have some issues with this girl wanting to know why you dumped her in the first place. i dont know if i would go with "my friend told me to" as an explanation. you might want to be prepared for some better explanations there.

shouldn't have dumped her in the first place...the girl obviously liked you from the beginning, and you can't help that! talk to her, tell her why you dumped her in the first place, and see where it goes from there.

well, if he tells you s you can go out with her, well that may not be true. if you ask her out she may not be able to trust you again. i tried that once and it ended up over because trust wasn't there and i needed it

ask her out again...

its pointless to not be with the girl you like because your best friend likes her if she doesnt like your best friend... but she likes you.

make sense?

good luck.
