I'm actually not sure, though I'd have to go with the procreative-within-the-bounds-of-marriage choice, as well as it being a very sacred act. Not to say that it can't be fun, but probably a better idea after marriage.
Personally I tend to agree with that, just because I think when you're married you're in the most stable relationship so if you were to get pregnant, it certainly wouldn't be a hassle or remotely a bad thing necessarily. However, I never judge people who don't do that. Whatever makes you happy, and I can't argue with that.

The act of making love has two purposes, the first is to unite as one, in the creation of another, two persons who have taken a vow to procreate as part of their marriage vows, when done in the sanctity of marriage it is sacred. When done outside of marriage, the union is sinful. But here comes the twist, the created being, made outside of wedlock, is not sin. Because sin is not transferred from parent to child, making the created baby, one in God, one in humanity. For this reason a pregnancy even outside of marriage, even if the act is sinful, the created is love.

Depends who is making love - the circumstances - ...it could be sacred or sinful.
Whethere inside marriage or not...matters some, but does not draw a line.
Only for procreation...too dry an idea and does not give homage to the gift making love is.

If love making is a sin then I will go to hell and love every minute of it. Hopeful one day I can use it for procreation, but for now it is a very special fun time between myself and my husband.

I have no religion so that rules out sacred and sinful and since I'm gay that rules out procreation. So I guess it's just for fun.

I am a Christian.
It is a special gift for a married man and woman, and for those who wait for marriage it is blessed and, ok, amazing.
God wants a married man and woman to delight in it, have pleasure and express their love to each other.
What the world seems to not know is when a man and a woman wait for marriage he pours out all that you would want in love making. My wife and I waited three yeaars and now it is frequent, passionate and we never tire of each other. Isn't that what people are looking for? With one person only?
When we follow God's ways he blesses us - Although it was not easy I am very glad that we waited.

I have no religion but when I was a christian it seemd that sex was for procreation and maybe for pleasure between man and wife...but only in the missionary position!
Now it's just for fun and maybe for babies one of these days soon.
