"Je Vous Aime" is the polite form, as in someone that you are not yet aquainted with...
You would probably say this instead:
"Je t'aime"
The French 'j' is pronounced like the 'g' in 'massage', or like the american pronunciation of the 's' in 'measure'. It is a soft j.
The 'e' in 'je' is pronounced kind of like the 'ou' in should/would/could, or the 'u' in 'push'
"t'aime" is pronounced 'tem' like in English

According to my son's Spanish and French teacher (I was and still am amazed how she could master two additional languages!!), it's written "Je t'aime" and pronounced "Zhe timm" or maybe "Shett-timm". Well, there might be some other dialects in France, too (the teacher was a native of Missouri, and we were raised in West Virginia!) EDIT: After posting, I remembered an episode of "The Nanny" where Fran was in love with a French-speaking guy. He told her "I adore you" which in French is "Je t'adore". He said that to her, and it sounded mighty close to "Shett-te-dorr". Then she got up, closing the door! She replied with something to the effect "I wonder why he has such a thing about shutting the door!"

Well first of all it's "Je vous aimes" that's a formal way of saying it and it can also be said towards more than one person. The informal way of saying it is "Je t'aime". "Aime" is pronounced exactly like you pronounce the letter M. "Je" is pronounced like the J in Jacques ( I'm sure you've heard of "Frère Jacques"...)

It's "je vous aime" (without the s) or "je t'aime".
Je vous aime is pronounced more or less "jeh voozem".

"je t'aime" is better, more personal..pronounced "sheh tem"....i guess that's as good as i can spell it lol. The 'j' is a cross between a 'z' and a 'sh' sound .
