How people spout off that i'm going to hell, or just blatantly laugh in your face because a little book says:

"thou should not suffer a witch to live"

How about "thou should not suffer a persecutor to live"

Your thoughts on this?

Don't let it get to you..

People have different beliefs that work for them and ONLY them.

Walk your path the way you want to walk it, learn about everything there is to know, and take what you need to build your own path..

"No matter what path i may travel, it is My Path; no matter where I walk, it leads to Me.."

Forreal, don't listen to them...they have no idea what they are talking about and are promoting MURDER which is breaking their PRECIOUS TEN COMMANDMENTS!!!!!

Are they violating your civil rights in some way? If so, contact the ACLU. If not, then perhaps try another tack...

If they spout off the whole "thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" you could ask them if they plan to follow the other 612 commandments as well.

If the person is wearing blended fabric (not 100% cotton, for example) they are sinning against their god.

If they sin in one part of the law, they sin in all.. so they don't have a real right to use that one against you unless they're going to follow all 613 commandments of the bible.

I get it all the time (I'm a witch also) from ignorant "believers" who are infected with the disease of christianity.
If it can't be handled legally, perhaps you should look at a move to a more progressive state.
Many blessings on your path.

Question is, why do you persecute religious people?

Why can't you leave us alone?

Why can't you accept the truth?

That "little book" that you so foolishly put down and ridicule on here speaks a whole lot about
love
forgiveness
having faith
having courage
understand God better
understand Jesus and know what he has done for all of us
having morals
having respect for yourself and others among many other things that are good for you.

Two reasons why we all suffer and they are for one thing that God test us to help us better ourselves and to know God,God doesn't punish us but God does allow things to happen for various reasons and none of them are bad.
The second reason why we suffer is because we bring it on our selves.

(i.e.) If we mistreat and disrespect others throughout our lives in any way then chances are we will be mistreated and disrespected during our last days on this Earth.

God is love and God is merciful but God also has ways of dealing with people whose heart is filled with hatred, anger & sin.

So,you and others like you really need to think about what you are doing and evaluate your inner self,in other words you need to clean up your own mess in your life before you go criticizing about other peoples' messes in their life.

While I think Wicca is just as dumb as Christianity, and everything else... I actually like Wiccans a lot more because they don't get up in people's face about it.

An' it harm none, do what ye will... I am totally cool with that.

My advice to you is to take the high road. Offer to answer any questions they have. If they have none, then either ignore their BS or politely ask them to stop bothering you.

Just don't get upset... you're playing right into their hands then. They'd love it if you responded with verbal abuse or worse. That would justify every bad thing they've thought of you or your religion.

If nothing else, enjoy the irony of the situation.

If you refer to christianity, it is wrong for a christian to judge another. If they do, they do not follow the biblical teachings and act more out of their own flesh. It also depends on how they say it. The other day a person complained about not being told about heaven and hell. Asked why christians keep quiet about this when he needed to know. Well, if you are being yelled at, that's wrong and I thing christians ought to live their life as an example and have an answer ready for those who have questions, not force their belief on anyone, because it will bring about only rejection and anger. I'm sorry this happened to you. God bless you.

Since I've become atheist I wouldn't say I've been persecuted. I am able to easily laugh off any judgements on my supposed character due to lack of theism.

edit
I currently live in the bible belt but not for much longer

Ignore them they are to be pitied, they do not know what they believe they just live to persecute others that are not in line with them.

In the long run they are the ones who will suffer for their persecutions.
Witches, Mediums, Prophets we are all messengers you were guided to what you believe.

I normal look at them and say well I will do a spell for you when they tell me they will pray for my soul. A lot of time however I just walk away. Before I was Wiccan I was Mormon so I am use to people telling me I am going to hell because of my beliefs

Make a little book of Wicca and try to convert them and say that if they won't convert something horrible will happen to them and press them to convert so they know how it feels like.
