It takes time, especially if you're sticking with low intensity exercise like walking which only burns 100 or so calories per hour, and you have to burn 3500 extra calories to lose one pound. Be patient. If you can, go faster and longer. That will speed up the process some.

You probably HAVE lost some of the belly fat, its just that you don't notice because so much is stored there. Remember also that there's nearly as much fat stored INSIDE the abdominal wall around your organs as there is outside hanging over your belt.

There is no magic. You don't get to choose where the fat comes off first.

Keep on keepin' on.

I've had this problem & thought too, I found out that most belly fat is caused by bad diet food & eating at night. Stop eating at night at start eating alot of healthy fiber rich foods and add in alot of fruit & veggies, you will see changes quickly, but dr. say it is from those things usually. I have stopped eating at night or early evenings and just drank a natural fruit juice, lowfat chocolate milk or distilled water & I noticed results in less than a month. keep up the walking and maybe add more cardio.
Good luck try it & see.

Weight is a bit responsible for big belly but than who is? yes it is muscle tone of belly & dropped shoulder. I am giving you two exercises to do without any equipment. If you reduce your belly circumferance by 4 to 6 inches than only thank me.
Foot Elivation:- Lie on your back on floor. Both hands should be with your body & foot together & no pillows. Now raise your foot up to 18" keep foot together & straight, keep it for as much time as you could do & as many times you wish but you can't do it till one hour after you take food. It's not easy to hold you raised foot long & you will feel stress not on your foot but on belly.
