if we want to we can change --- and for the better ---- if you care for someone why not change if there is something that hurts them about the way we act??? i know i have changed --- my lady did not "make" me it was and is a conscious choice ---- i will not cheat on her and i will not lie to her

It's a double standard. Women feel that if they can change their behaviors for someone they love, then the man in the relationship will step up and take responsibility to change themselves. Most women know that you cannot change someone else, but others try anyway. Why can't men handle the fact that most women now are independent and can't spend all day in the kitchen, cooking and cleaning for you?
