doesn't this statement make it a moot point. it is nothing that is affecting the military.

Jennings said Harvard should continue to press for a military "where the only qualification to serve is a desire to serve, and a love for your country."

i agree with this statement too.

No - I'm very liberal, and my husband is a JROTC instructor for our county high schools. JROTC and ROTC are for students who WANT to be in it. And at the high school level, it's about leadership training and self-esteem building, not about recruiting.
