Of course, religious leaders endeavour for eradication of caste system and equality among human beings, but higher castes leaders and down trodden castes public restrain them referring their culture, custom, tradition, etc. Corruption is common as symbol of our society and unless people hate it the religious leaders can do nothing against this nefarious act

The self proclaimed religious leaders are not doing anything for others but for meeting their self interests. Like we are in our profession for making our livelyhood, these godmen are also doing this work as a profession. When they are able to flourish more and more, they start earning false fame also.
It is not anybody's job to make a society free of ills. But as we find no answer to the problems around us, these clever people thrive on our ignorance and act as our religious mentors.
Unless we understand the things logically. these things will continue to happen.

In Christianity, I don't believe it is fair to say you religious leader or you minister should be doing something, when you are not doing anything that is your duty*
