Lots of people who self-injure have a condition called Borderline Personality Disorder, and there is treatment for it. Specifically, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy has been show to be very effective.
Professional counseling is usually required to help people with SI issues, as this is much like other conditions, such as eating disorders.
I can't tell you how to stop it on your own, as I wasn't able to do so. I needed help, I got it, and I stopped. It wasn't easy, but it happened, and it's been a couple of years since I've purposefully hurt myself. With some help, I'm sure that you can stop.
I still have some scars that remind me of what I've done; perhaps they are a reminder of why I don't want to return to that behavior. I'm glad I got the help though, and don't want to go back to those days.
Good luck,
--Dee

Obviously as someone already stated..u really need to try and see someone about this. I know it may be very hard for u to do and talk about.
But there are people who care and go through similar things.
So first suggestion would be to go and see a GP and ask them to refer u to someone who can help.
Another thing u may find helpful is a group on youtube that was started not long ago for people who self harm.
We kinda have a support network system goin there.
Watching other peoples videos and listening to their experiences has helped me in a lot of ways.
Here's the link to the self harm group at youtube:

Take care!!

Your addicted to mutilating yourself. I'm not sure if there is but you should check into support groups, and get a sponsor for when you want to hurt yourself if thats available. The other thing is you really really REALLY need to be in therapy. This uncontrolable urge to cut yourself is because of pain you have on the inside, that you need to find away to coap with, without hurting yourself. Please see a pshyciatrist/therapist ASAP it is so good you want to stop doing this, but go out and get the help you need to do it, because you can't do it alone.

Seek help NOW! Go to your physician or call social aid and have him/her manage the situation. Know that you are a good person and are worth the effort. Others care about you. Stop thinking, ACT!
