A man lives in a 12th floor flat (apartment.)
Every day he gets up early and gets the lift (elevator) to the ground floor and goes to work.
When he arrives home from his days work he get's the lift (elevator) to the sixth floor and takes the stairs for the remaining 6 floors.
Why does he do this?

coz he's vertically challenged, had a violation for putting up a joke about midgets and they f@king removed it!!!!

seem to remember a riddle like this where the man was really short and could only reach the buttons up to the 6th floor, so he got to the 6th floor and walked up the stairs the rest of the way
however in the version i heard - if it was raining or there was someone else in the elevator he got the elevator all the way to the 12th floor as he could use his umbrella to reach the button or the other person in the lift pressed the button for him.

In the morning there are more people in the lift so they have pressed the ground floor. ( thats how he gets to the bottom floor in the morning)..
In the evening he may be the only one in the lift and he can only reach the sixth floor button????????

The elevator only goes (up) to the 6th floor and must use stairs to reach his apartment...that, or he just wants to get some exercise!

this joke is flawed. he would have to walk downstairs cos buttons in a lift start at 1 in the top left corner just like A phone keypad thus 123

The hoodies patroll levels 7-10 and he doesnt want any trouble, he takes the stairs all the way coz ther would be no point returning to the lift for the remaining 2 levels. lol
