Depending on what type of communications he's in will depend on if he goes or not. Just because he's in the reserves or in a new unit, doesn't mean he won't be going. My husband in the National Guard in a new unit and twelve people from his unit just got sent. They were going to send him, but they decided to send those who haven't been yet. It's all up to needs of the Army. If they need communications people, then he might get sent. Just pray for him and be supportive, even if you don't want him to go. Good luck!

He's cannon fodder. Most of the people in Iraq are reservists. That's been the SOP from the Joint Chiefs since the liberals did away with the draft.

the demand for soldiers is going down. if they didn't tell him early he might not have to. but he might be told last minute.

kind of a 50/50 chance.
