I used to like throwing anything and everything in a slow cooker.

I used to pile in all the veggies, carrots, leeks, celery, onions, mushrooms, any of your fav veggies. Then fry some meat, be it chicken pork, turkey, beef. Throw it all in the slow cooker with a tin of chopped tomatoes and a few spoons of worcester sauce..TA DA, a healthy, easy meal you can serve with rice, potatoes or bread.

One of my favs was:

Fry some pork
tin chopped tomatoes
one onion chopped
mushrooms
worcestershire sauce
a little salt and sugar

Serve with rice

Easy and tasty.

I would also make a huge salad, with leaves, tomatoes, cucumber, mango (or any fruit), throw on some baked chicken thats been in a marinade ( you can buy LOADS of nice marinades at the store) serve with some type of bread.

These two were the best ideas as you can always mix the ingrediants up. Hope this inspires you.

when you are pregnant you can still eat normal meals you eat when not pregnant- you dont have to have some kind of special diet, but is nicer to try different foods such as fish, pasta, wholemeal ceriears. just think of foods like when you diet and you'll be fit and healthy.

also experiment with foods. buy a few things from supermarket and set yourself a task to make something eatable only using them ingrediants. it'll be fun and creative

The main things to avoid are liver shellfish and nuts. Most things are ok but it all depends on what you fancy I went totally off mince when expecting both mine. As long as you get plenty of nutrients i dont think it really matters

Eat whatever doesn't make you sick. Check out http://www.recipezaar.com. They have lots of great recipes, in a wide range of ethnic foods, health foods, and good old country foods. I really enjoy trying ethnic foods (though if you're prone to heartburn, you might want to stay away from the spicier ones).
