OK...so back when I was in kindergarden I was friends with this boy who lived next door. We stayed friends until fourth grade when I moved. Then, I spent a year at my new school up until 6th grade. In 6th grade he moved to where I am now.(unintentionaly.) When he moved to close to where I live things got really weird between us so now we never talk. Now I get really shy around him. The worst part about this is that I really like him. He'll look into my eyes when we pass eachother in the hallways. How can I tell if he likes me if we don't really even talk? And no I don't really want to ask him. No stupid answers please.

Why would he look you in the eyes if he didn't like you? He would look at you, say hi, and that's it. But apparently, he's feeling something too. That's why things feel weird, your feeling more attracted to him emotionally than just as friends. If you feel too shy to confront him, try writing down how you feel in note form, well, tell him that you like him as more than just a friend...if you tell him too much of how you feel, he might not understand you. Boys mature more slowly than girls, so you don't want to confuse him TOO soon! lol

Break the cycle of no communication and greet him one day and then the next ask how he is. Dont let the possibility of a let down stop you from trying. Seems like you have nothing to lose anyway so just be confident and start the communication. Its gonna feel worse if you see him holding someone elses hand in the hallway cos you were too shy and it could've been you!

The best thing that i can advice you is to swallow your pride this will make it possible for you to talk to him...

If you do one possible outcome would be you'd finally get him to be friends with you again and maybe even more...

if you look at all the possibilities you two can finally clarify things with each other you might even know what he really feels for you...

I don't know the psychological brain patterns of teenagers in the state but there are similarities in my country.. (the women are far worse shier than you are especially if they like someone) but I hope my advice can help...

Good Luck! ^_^

i suggest you have a conversation with him once, even if it'll take a lot of guts to do it, you won't regret it! like when you pass by him in the hallway, smile and say 'hey... what a coincidence that you moved here too! how are our old classmates doing?' or something like that and everyday say hello to him in the moring and you'll see that then he'll say hi everyday oo and you'll go back to being friends like the old days! hope it works out for you! ;]

your in school. your friends change over the years. he hasnt seen you in a long time and his attitude probably has changed. maybe hes shy. dont be a pest about it. if he wants to talk to you he will. you need to back off. not everyone is going to like you.
