it means that he gets joy from God

Well, I guess you would have to experience it to know what he is talking about. You are never alone, when you have God in your life. Christ lived a perfect life, and we all could learn from Him. He never said to go out and kill people, people thought that one up and called it a religion. God is love, and if you have that in your heart, you do not need to get high on any drug, as God will fulfill that feeling in you. Just try it and start praying and believe that God is there for you. Good luck and God bless you.

I means that he gets "high on God" Kind of like the saying "I'm high on life". He lives for God and breathes for God. Like drugs are addicting, so is God for him. Hope this helps!

Hello SweetestLady,

That must be the first time you heard such a thing. Well, it has a very indirect meaning. Firstly, when he says God was his drug, it means he's addicted to God. Now that's a good sign. Why? It's because when you're addicted to God, you tend to turn to him for everything and that pleases God. It isn't bad to do so anyways because God is our refuge in everything. And when God is pleased, you'll naturally feel joyed.

Regards,
Terence

its a stupid analogy but basically - his beliefs in his god do the altering (of moods, feelings, euphoria, etc..) for him - as opposed to an outside man made influence...it does beg the question - who holds his hair when he has a "little too much" of god....

I guess they meant that their belife in god was what made them happy in life, got them high I suppose. It's the same as someone saying that they get high on life in general; it's that uplifted feeling
