Seriously, how many people have been killed all in the name of "god"? Mind you, i am not talking about being spiritual, im talking about organized religion and how it seems to manipulate the masses for the benefit of the few...

i agree. religion divides us. spirituality, on the other hand,combines us. all religions share the aspect of spirituality. if we can focus on that, we'll be fine with ourselves, each other, life, death, and everything else.

Religion is an excuse. Aslong as many religion is there, there will always be war. The truth is it isnt about religion to most its only about power so you should be asking is seeking Power the downfall of humanity and my answer will be yes without any doubts.

If people were tolerant and realized there is no definite truth in religion, then the world would be fine..
A Christian, Muslim, Pagan, Jew, Buddhist, should all be able to exchange words of wisdom in peace, not in war or intolerance.

religion is supposed to be man reaching out for god in his life....even if it is organized in social structure, it can be positive, because in organization, people can achieve a lot of good together.
it is false religion and abuse that will create problems. most of the time, this eventually gets corrected, because people get tired of abuse.....
right now, in modern times, if abuse does not get corrected fast, it will lead to another world war...esp in the middle east......with one group trying to blow up everyone....god did not ask any group to blow anyone up....people are leaving him out of the decision...
