If it is factory installed you just take the VIN to the dealership service department and they will tell you everything that came on the truck. If it is aftermarket than that is not really a tow package since the tow package comes with higher spring rate, heavy duty alternator, etc. The factory tow package increases the value of the truck, the aftermarket does not.

call ford dealer serv dept tell them your vin and tell them you want them to run an OASIS. report itll tell ya options, recalls, serv history.etc and its free... otherwise look for trans oil cooler infront of radiator and hitch mounts underneath rear of vehicle. not too often are sports having the tow pkg. especially if their 2wd.

Look at the rear of the truck under the licence plate, there should be a hitch.
