Two way car alarm remote?

I have a two way python car alarm (It pages your remote when the car alarm goes off. Unfortunately the remotes break constantly. I've gone through 4 of them and at $80 a piece its getting pretty old. I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem and if so is there any way to keep the bastards from breaking?

i have a Viper pager that broke once. its all DEI so its all the same. the damn thing just stopped working. i bought another at $120 and havent had the problem sinse. if i were you i would contact DEI and tell them that if they dont send you a new one, your never buying there product again, nor will you recomend it to anyone.
