It's funny some of the angry relplies I got to a simple question. I think it reflects on the worlds intolerance of others. It's a simple question, why do you have to go off on tangents. The world is too complicated, to understand it, you have to take it one step at a time.

Obviously, the world should not permit such a crede. If there are violators, who should police them?

Yes, I am very ignorant of religion, I detest it and won't spend a minute trying to understand it. I deal with the real world. In the real world, Muslims DO kill Christians, Jews kill Palestinians, Catholics kill Protestants etc. Religion is a mask for the power hungry in my opinion. But this is not the question. If a religion openly promotes the genocide of competeing religions, who should police it?

Ok, have to go to work in the real world now. Haven't seen a good answer yet to who should police the violators. I would say within religion first and if they don't comply, maybe some sort of religios UN?
Take your time, make sure you can come up with the best words to attack me. The world is full of such nice people. Praise your lord.

I hate religion, it seems to be the cause of all the problems in the world. (STD and HIV coz some religions don't agree with contraception), (women not allowed to go out in public without their husbands),(to hate any other race or religion that is not your own), I mean what kind of sick people are out there that will let a religion rule their life, I think we should leave these crazies alone to kill themselves. I also think we should go with China and ban these outlandish religions. Have you also noticed that a crazy religion attracts people who are also crazy. But it is not just these murdering religions there are also religions where you move into a commune and give all your money and belonging to these leaders and then people, mainly children get abused and brainwashed in some ways these religions are just as bad as the murdering ones.

I saw on Shepard's Chapel that their is a difference in meanings between kill and murder and the Comandment should be: Thou shall not commit murder. Hopefully one day the human race will get to the point where we can avoid this in war.......I thought by now we would from back in the early seventies though it doesn't look too bright with war and talk of more wars constantly.....Maybe it's some grand plan for population control as some say of the New World Order?

why people whose brains were born in an iron cast (so they can't think at all) are even allowed in this normal world. Is Guantanamo Bay only for the terrorists? I say people like u r the biggest terrorists by fuelling hatred in other people. U've to understand (if u can) that not a single religion states or allows any kind of criminal activity.

No, I don't think that is a good idea. It would be nice to live in peace but the heart of man is not so good at times. If they were not fighting over religion it would be something else. Look at the Indian tribes of America. Some were peaceful folks and others were not. They fought over land and gaining possessions.

No, but the world cannot control all the religions, and even if they could, we would not be a uncontrolled world. Would you like to live under a complete controller, maybe he will turn into a murderer too. You see, us humans are just murders, regardless if we have a religion or not. God did not intend it to be that way, we chose it. There is a lot of killing done in the name of religion, but it is also in the name of things that are not related to religion. Maybe it is the color of one's skin, wanting to rid their country of certain types of people. What the world needs is to love one another and be patient and kind, also to have consideration and compassion. Killing one person because they believed their religion told them it was ok, is not the way to do it, but showing them the right way is better. God will take care of those kind of people, it is just a matter of time, I believe. So, try to do something about it, and look to God for your guidance. I hope you believe in God......

No religion like this exists, alhamdulillah (thank Allah). Not Judaism, not Christianity, not Islam, not the Baha'i Faith, not Buddhsim, not Hinduism, not Wicca, not any religion. Not even atheism and agnosticism promote this.
Should any religion like this pops up, and it WILL be the FIRST religion of this kind, I'll be first in line to inform you of it.
IF you are alluding that any such religion already exists, you are sorely, sorely, sorely mistaken. READ FIRST. STUDY RELIGIONS FIRST before making ANY ***A S S***umptions. The best thing to do is to read the Holy Writ. Do your homework THOROUGHLY before you choke on the other foot.

Any religion who blesses troops going to war is promoting the murder of not just members of another religion, but likely members of their own religion.
It sounded to me like your question was aimed at Islam (maybe even Judaism), but almost all religions get involved in war.

The naive silliness of your comment and question lies in the fact the world cannot agree, as one, to outlaw anything. If the world could reach one accord on the topic of what religion should be outlawed, doesn't it strike you that there'd be no problem to begin with?

i dont think someone should make a religion about killing someone in another religion expecially if its in the united states because sooner or later, that religion will be found out and made illegal. if you were in a country that does things like that, i guess you could do that, but i dont recommend it

No. But its important to remember that the goals or actions of a few fundamentalist or extremist, does not usually constitute the entire religion's beliefs.
