Which is better: Getting a mail order bride or asking a woman out on a date?

Advantages of getting a mail order bride instead of asking a woman on a date.

1. Men never have to humiliate themselves after yet another rejection.
2. Shy men have an opportunity to enjoy life.
3. Shy men don't have to worry about a snobby stuck up Paris Hilton-type of girl making fun of him.
4. Men won't be afraid of rejection.
5. Men won't have to deal with fake phone numbers from clubs, women not returning calls, etc.
6. Men who are virgins won't kill themselves
7. Men will never be lonely. They will always have a women to come home to.
8. No more chasing after women trying to get laid.

Advantages of asking a girl on a date instead of getting a mail order bride:

(legitimate reasons please, not the old cliches of "human trafficking is wrong" or "I don't wanna buy a slave" The answer I am looking for is what EXACTLY is the benefit of risking my self esteem and putting my heart on the line just to get girls to like me?)

I've seriously thought about the same thing before and for many of the same reasons you listed.

One thing I will say, though, is that the term "Mail Order Bride" just isn't true anymore. At one time, many companies would find you a bride after paying for their service, but the woman didn't have any choice on who they were matched up with. This would be the "human trafficking" aspect.

Now, though, most of these companies are considered to be an introductory service. They will give you access to communication with the ladies that are searching but you both make the decision on whether or not you want to meet. They are much more like an international dating service.

The biggest problems with international dating can be the cultural differences(way of living, superstitions, etc.) and the cost(visas, immigration, plane tickets, etc.) If you feel you can handle these things, then more power to you, and go for it.

If you are interested in Asian women, many of them hold much more traditional values(religion, lifestyle, etc.) than many American women. That is something that was always attractive to me. Many American women have traditional values as well - they are just harder to find and you have to know where to look.

If you want to meet quality girls, try sticking to girls with traditional values. Your percentages go up if you look in church singles groups or christian dating services on the internet. It's also easier to meet people there if you are shy and they typically aren't 'stuck-up'. They will be much more likely to tell you the truth and return your calls.

I think you may have just been looking in the wrong places. If it hasn't worked out so far, you need to change up your routine and try meeting people in different places. Dating isn't easy and we've all been through rejection - you're not alone. The benefit of dating someone here is that you can be around them all the time to get to know them and you won't have the hefty expenses involved with international dating.

I can't understand why anyone would but a bride. That is still human trafficking even if the woman is selling herself to you . You could end up living a pure h--l of your making and you paid for it ahead of time. Also how would you know that person didn't just want to get into this country the only way they could. I couldn't live with all the questions that would run through my mind on a daily basis. If they will sell themselves to get a new life in another country, What will stop them from selling themselves in another form (prostitution) once they get here if you don't provide for them in the manner they were expecting and they constantly want more and more .I don't think they would be above doing anything they deemed necessary to get what they want.
