Friend, I am an Aposotlic Pentacost non-denominational, I will try to answer your question, # 1 When You put all your faith & trust in God, Then knowing that we done all we can do & we know that God has everything in his hands & to know we are his Child, That give us Love, Joy, Peace & so on. #2 When we become humble before God, Our spiritual minds are lifted up in Hope & Faith, because we come to God Just as we are. #3 Friend True pentacostal do not look down on poor people, & when The rapture takes place we will not go in the Rapture naked, We are dressed in FINE LINEN, & the Rapture is for all who has the TRUE Baptism of the Holy Ghost, Rich or poor. #4 My church do not lock their doors during services, The only time our doors is lock is when no one is at church & then our church is programmed at the police station if someone breaks in. WE have nothing to hide while services is going on, If we did, we would not be live on the internet during live services. Just because some so call Pentacostals may lock their doors, we don't.

James, I have never been in a Pentecostal church where they locked the doors. (and I have been to quite a few).

and this idea about only the rich being raptured? yikes!

James, visit a church or two or three. Present questions to the people there. With only one exception, in all the Pentecostal churches I have visited the people are very friendly and kind to visitors, no matter your appearance.

There are many different shades of doctrines and practices. Not all Pentecostal churches are created equal, that is for sure.

God bless

I don't' know what your previous question was. But I am Charismatic or spirit filled Catholic. We speak in tongues and prophecy and believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are for today. They should be part of a normal Christian life.

They may be expressed differently in different traditions but we have in common, prayer that is out loud and led by the spirit rather than silent or pre-written.

There is only one Bible. there are different translations becasue for many years the major translations were written in old english, from the 1500's and hard to understand.

so many faiths, too many gods, plenty of prophets and lots of sons of 'God' - and WORSE - so many many 'bibles' to read - you have to make your own choice!!
