How do you know how good your blender is in relation to frozen stuff? All I know is it has a heavy glass jug !

Yes, you can put them in there. I used to throw Ice cube in mine (old glass oster). Ice is alot harder than frozen berries, berries have sugar in them which keeps them from freezing as hard. Besides it makes the smoothies nice and chilled.

Frozen Fruit Blender

The problem with some blenders is that the blades are not strong enough to break ice and will buckle. If you've lost the guide, maybe you could ask on here if somebody has the same type of blender? (My blender is a kenwood gourmet about 10 years old and it won't do ice, if that's helpful!) Or ring the manufacturer's helpline. I wouldn't advise you just gave it a go because if you ruin the blades then you've ruined your blender.

For smoothies with any frozen fruit just put the fruit in a blender with apple or orange juice (depending on the flavors) and a few tablespoons of plain yogurt and blend away. Healthy, yummy, super easy.

Definitely
I do it all the time and my blender is 5 years old and works perfectly.

How much did you pay for your blender? The old addage of You get what you pay for is one I follow.
Generally the glass jug blenders are of a better quality than the plastic jug ones.

If you chop ice in the blender then berries are okay to, if in doubt though, wait a little for the berries to thaw slightly, this will give you a nice cool smoothie

yes, you can put frozen berries. Most semi-decent blenders are made to blend frozen fruit. If you got really large strawberries, you might want to thaw them a bit, because they can be hard when frozen, but all other berries can go straight in.

If it's a decent blender then yes, I did it only a couple of days ago, if it jams turn it off, stir, then start it again, do this every time it jams. It won't burn out unless you leave it one for ages when it jams up. You should be fine.

If you're too worried then let them thaw a little
=:-)

Best is to soak them in warm water for 2 mins.
The blenders that blend ice will blend easily. Rest , take care.

yes
if your blender choppes ice then it will also chop berries
at smoothie bars the fruit is all frozen but the machines are strong too
you will only find out if you try
a weak machine will burn out quicker if you use ice and frozen stuff but most of them should be able to handle it
