Yes -- DVD+RW and DVD-RW are re-recordable. Some recorders also allow use of DVD-RAM. The RAM disks are generally more feature rich and generally can't be played on computers. The RW disks are less feature rich but can generally be played on computers (after they've been finalized). Make sure you check your manual for DVD+RW and/or DVD-RW -- it makes a difference!
