Get the regular box mix (not the 'super moist kind') and replace the oil with 1/2c butter and blend.... if it is too thick at this point, add an egg white. Good luck!

What I do when I make my cakes from a box mix is I use 5-6 eggs instead of the called for 2 or 3. I add 1/2 stick melted butter instead of the 1/3 cup of oil, and use equal milk instead of water (chocolate cake you can use chocolate milk if desired).

I whip the eggs up well until they about double in size- do not meringue them- before i start adding the other ingredients!

Cooking time will be about the same but not exactly..... make sure to check approxiamately 5 minutesearly but dont b surprised for it to take 5-10 minutes longer.

The pudding or mayonaisse tricks do work but have an occassion to burn if not watched carefully.

~NOTE~ Not the greatest for dieters!

Mayonnaise makes an amazingly moist cake. There's absolutely no mayonnaise taste but The Dude's Lady Friends is right. Try mayonnaise. You won't be disappointed.

I substitue a small amount of the milk for oil. Works every time.
if the recipe calls for 1 cup milk add 3/4 cup milk and 1/4 cup oil

I ususally sprinkle some milk over the cake's crust after you bake it. That's it: very easy and very tasty!!!

You could use mayo but I like regular vegetable oil the best.

Replace oil w/mayonnaise. Sounds weird but it is awesome.
