My parents did not push any religion on me, as a child or otherwise. I think my father was an atheist and my mother was a
Christian with no particular practicing denomination. I have tried to place myself in the mist of many different Christian denominations and have felt out of place in a practicing church. I do believe in a higher power, being, God. I do believe that there was a man named Jesus. I question from time to time the importance of this man's life on Earth. I question the accuracy of the holy bible, scriptures. With all these questions, I still believe. In a world full of hate, sorrow, distrust, deception, etc. I would find it useless to live without my belief/faith. Do you believe in something?

Nope.
My mother is Catholic and my father, I don't know what call him. He claims to be a Christian but lives a very anti-Christian life and has been called a cult leader by some (none who know him personally though).
I was raised by my father and I couldn't agree with the hypocrisy he demonstrated and the religion that I was forced to follow or else. My mother was non-religious when I was in contact with her so she didn't have any influence on me. I don't share their beliefs because I prefer to think for myself which is something I was never allowed to do any point when I was younger. What I believe does not mesh with either of their beliefs at all.

Yes i am. My parents are both good Christians, and brought us up in a Christian home. When me and my siblings were in our mid-teenage years, they let us decide and follow whichever path we felt happy with. This way we all got to question God and christianity. I guess they are really happy because now we are all in our 20s and all 4 of us, are the same as they are. I thank God soo much for my parents. Their love and prayers made me a better person, and my family the best family.

Nope. I was raised as a catholic which lead me (like you) to believe that God did not exist. It's the natural progression for someone who grows up in a religious household. Now I'm going to shock you: Like Paul, I literally saw the light one day after a personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. I am now a born-again Christian fundie like your parents. There's still hope for you.

Mostly No. My parents were officially Roman Catholic, which I am clearly not. My father, however, believed that there was good and bad in all religions. He also believed that there was more than one way to enlightenment (or "heaven"). If he were alive, I think he would like the church I attend.
I go to a Unitarian Universalist church. While influenced by Christian and Jewish teachings, UU'ism encourages a free and open search for truth and meaning and draws from all world religions, earth-centered spirituality, humanist and scientific bodies of knowledge. Belief in God is not required. Jesus is considered to be an enlightened teacher and healer, not a deity. Acceptance, human worth & dignity, and doing for others are basic principles. I'm happy to see our kids growing up in this "uncommon denomination" that encourages carry-ons over baggage.

No, my parents are catholic. I renounced that religion because I believe it to be a cult with idol worship and many other fake beliefs. I am now a born again Christian and I live by the word of God through Jesus Christ.

No, I am not the same religion. My parents were Roman Catholic. I am an atheist. I realized I was forcing myself to believe things I knew were not true, so I became honest with myself and dropped it. What a relief!

My parents are Methodist. I'm Wiccan because I always had so many questions about the Bible that no one could answer. I just never felt comfortable as a Christian.

I was raised Catholic. I was a very devout Catholic in my earlier adult years. My mother was raised Catholic, and remained one until the day she passed. My father was raised Catholic but became JW about 20 yrs ago. My sister was raised Catholic but isn't a practicing one, except for Ash Wednesday and Lent.
I'm now a Baha'i.

My mother was the most rabid Catholic ever...that woman would have scared the Inquisitors. She had me in a Catholic school run by nuns, and the school took us to Mass in its very own church and it was basically being in church all day every day. As far as I know, my father is Anglican. Both of them claim to have all the answers, and both of them think they are perfect, yet the lives they lead, and the way they treat other people (especially me), would make you sick.
I am an atheist because God does not exist.
