I come across to guys as being a confident, independant person.Why are they so afraid of that? I don't know why i come across that way because im nothing like that.

Some men need to be superior to the woman they are with. It sounds like you have your **** together and know how to take care of yourself. You may want to look for a guy that wants to be taken care of, a real mama's boy. That might help.

If you are trying to conform adn be that way then they obviously seeing it. Confidence can put a man off if he feels shy or if he is a possesive man. Nobody wants a possesive man anyway! Just be cool and be yourself. If men wont like you for who you are then they not even worth worrying about. You will find a man with substance just hang in there.

A lot of young guys feel threatened by strong confident women......shows their insecurity
or lack of confidence
A real man has no problem with being with a strong confident women

Confidence is sexy, Maybe some of the guys are immature and feel threatened by that.

confident and independent are one thing....********* and controling are another.....as stupid as it sounds men still like to have some reason to be around....they want to take care of you in some way whether its spending money or protecting you or fixing something....they want you to need them for something or they feel like you don't need them.....make them feel like there is a reason for them in your life....and lets face it women can do it all on their own if they want to but we don't really want to, we like having men around and we like them to be dependent on us for certain things too.....neither the male or female in the relationship should be dependent on the other one for everything though...that was your mommy's job and your grown now so you have to learn how to take care of yourselves a little bit....
